Kenny Williams Tjampitjinpa was born near where the Kiwirrkura Community now stands. He is the son of Naata Nungarrayi and younger brother of artist Ronnie Tjampitjinpa. He spent most of his early years around Wilkinkarra. His family was taken to pupunya by one of Jeremy Longs Northern Territory Welfare Branch Patrols in 1963. Later, Kenny moved to Balgo on the Northern Perimeter of the Great Sandy Desert, joining other Pintupi people who had migrated there. He later moved back to Pupunya and then to Walungurru when it was established in 1981. His exhibitions include: "Twenty-five years and beyond" (1999) and Aboriginal Art 2002 (scott Livesly Art Dealer) catalogue.
