Historical: Ningara was married to the late Yala Yala Gibbs
Tjungarrayi. They had lived in the desert until meeting up with a
welfare patrol led by Jeremy Long, after which they settled at Papunya.
Now lives in Kintore with her family.
Painting: Ningara paints Tingari stories for her country. All her
paintings concern places where she lived when she was younger, and
are filled with her knowledge of the country and its law.
